About Boys Swimming
Joe Fisher enters his third season in charge of the Ames boys swimming program. The program has earned two team state championship titles and eight team runner-up titles in its storied history.

IHSAA ChampionshipsLast year, the Little Cyclones finished 11th at the IHSAA Championships, highlighted by a third-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke by freshman Joshua Chen and a third-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay with Hanyu Ning, Joshua Chen, Eli Houseman, Adam Feilmeyer in the lineup.
US Olympic Team Trials
QualifierJoshua Chen spent the offseason prepping and qualifying for the US Olympic Team Trials in Omaha – one of the youngest athletes to participate in the event this year.
